Within the next few weeks, The Ron Young Team will be running operations as normal with extra precautions. Things we will consider in the next few weeks are listed below. If you have any questions or concerns, please give Carol a call at 215.519.6304. For Buyers:

  • We offer online buyer appointments through Zoom meetings so you won’t need to leave your house to keep your home buying process moving forward.

  • We will bring gloves and hand sanitizer to all showings in case you’d like to use them as you look at houses.

  • If you don’t want to leave your house, we will gladly walk through houses with you on a video call via Facetime or Zoom.

  • When we look at houses in person together, we take precautions seriously. Before opening the lockbox and front door, we will wipe both with a Clorox wipe.

  • Throughout the transactions, all documentation can be signed electronically.

  • If your settlement date is within the next few weeks, contact us for the next steps to obtaining a limited Power of Attorney. In the event you cannot make settlement, we will have your POA in place to allow for a seamless transaction.

  • Please feel free to bring your kids to settlement. We understand the schools are canceled and so we have activities to entertain them.

  • At closing, we will refrain from shaking hands. All parties involved in the transaction will come at separate times or will be in separate rooms as well as only having the parties signing in the closing room.

For Sellers:

  • We offer online Zoom meetings for listing appointments if you prefer.

  • All listings have video walk through tours. Our showing instructions will say, “Has your buyer watched the online walk through tour? Sellers prefer they see the video before scheduling in-person showings.” This could limit the number of showings, if that’s what the seller prefers.

  • At open houses, someone from our team will greet guests with hand sanitizer before entering your home.

  • At the end of the open house, we’ll wipe all door knobs, light switches, handrails, and handles on bath faucets.

  • We will conduct open houses through Facebook Live in case there are people that don’t want to or can’t leave their house.

  • Throughout the transactions, all documentation can be signed electronically.

  • If your closing date is soon approaching, consider signing a deed package so you do not have to attend closing. The deed package will allow Ron or Carol to sign on your behalf at settlement.

  • Please feel free to bring your kids to settlement. We understand the schools are cancelled and so we have activities to entertain them.

  • At closing, we will refrain from shaking hands. All parties involved in the transaction will come at separate times or will be in separate rooms as well as only having the parties signing in the closing room.
