Our Team is off to a busy start as the Spring time quickly approaches, but first, we wanted to look back before we jump ahead!

This past year The Ron Young Team was recognized in the Top 100 tier in our Region of 10,000 Agents! We were also honored and proud to receive the 2021 Platinum Award. We are proud of our achievements but we are most proud of your trust in us. There is NO greater reward than your referrals and business. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting our business and our mission to serve others.

Ron and Carol celebrated Carol’s birthday in December at the Omni Resort in Bedford Springs. An ideal birthday weekend away in a beautiful location with a spa, restaurants, and hiking trails. The celebrating continued on for the Young’s 49th wedding anniversary in February at one of their favorite spots – The William Penn Inn

They ventured out with their Grandkids and kids to The Philadelphia Zoo LumiNature, American Music Theater to watch their Annual Christmas show, and the Strasburg Rail Road. They also took their grandson, Reid, to a Philadelphia Union soccer match for his birthday and to Byers Choice (Home of the Carolers)! Ron shared a special moment with Carter teaching him how to tie his tie before heading off to Homecoming at Central Bucks South. Also pictured below are all 10 Grandkids on Christmas Day with their Great Pop-Pop.

We ventured out to Chester County’s Longwood Gardens in early December for our Team’s holiday celebration! The gardens displayed whimsical winter wonder that got us in the Christmas spirit! Check out these magnificent gardens if you can, you won’t be disappointed! The Orchid House just opened too!

We dined at Longwood Garden’s, 1906, for lunch. We were blown away by their impressive presentations all enhanced by beautiful floral accents. On another note, if you haven’t indulged in their hot chocolate, you’re missing out!

Thank you again for “swinging by” our event! We were blessed with such beautiful weather in the middle of February to enjoy being outside catching up with everyone! 100 families took home cookie decorating kits to enjoy! A big THANK YOU to the Stay At Home Baker (Stacy Young – Ron and Carol’s daughter-in-law) for making beautiful and delicious cookie decorating kits! By joining us at our event, YOU made an impact and supported a cause near and dear to our hearts! This year, for every family who came to our event, we made a donation to The American Heart Association in honor of Heart Month.

Jamie, our Transaction Coordinator, enjoyed the holiday season this year, spending quality time with her family and friends. She baked many cookies and made a ton of hard candy with family, which is a family recipe and tradition. For Christmas, her sister-in-law, Margaret, and her husband Noah, who live in Florida, visited her family, which was a highlight of their Christmas. In January, Jamie and Jake got to take a trip to Florida for a friend’s wedding, and it was their first time back in West Palm Beach since having graduated college. They spent their time with old friends and revisiting their favorite spots downtown.

In this new year, Jamie is making an effort to explore local attractions. She realized that she lives so close to Philly yet rarely visits the city. So far, she has seen a few exhibits, such as the Vincent Van Gogh exhibit and the Wonderspaces Art Show. Next on her list is the Barnes Museum since she has never been, and she is considering going to the Harry Potter exhibit at the Franklin Institute. Jamie has a lot to look forward to as Spring approaches, and her calendar for the warmer months is filling up quickly! She has been in Real Estate School, and she is looking forward to getting her Real Estate License! Did you know that Keller Williams is currently offering Real Estate School at no cost to you? The classes are online, on-demand, and at your pace! Give Carol a call to start the enrollment process…it’s that easy.

In February, Sam, our Buyer Agent, celebrated his 3rd year in Real Estate AND his 29th birthday! In 3 years, Sam has helped 87 families find their dream homes and this year he is looking to set the bar even higher. Carol (the QUEEN of gift giving) bought the Team 76ers tickets for Sam’s joint birthday and 3-year anniversary celebration. To our surprise, the game Carol picked was James Hardens first home game! The stadium was electric and the Sixers were on fire! There’s something special about sporting events for The Ron Young Team – we LOVE Team Bonding outside of our day-to-day roles at these events whether it’s a Philadelphia Union soccer match, Phillies game, or Sixers game! The Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab Fries might play a big part in it too!

Sam’s birthday celebrations continued at TopGolf in Mount Laurel, NJ, Trattoria Totaro for his favorite Italian food (chicken parmesan, of course!), and The Blue Bell Inn for lunch with the Team. Sam was able to golf on a few nice days this winter. One of the courses had cats roaming the course who were waiting at the holes to catch their golf balls. His nephew, Jackson, just turned one at the beginning of March!

Olivia, our Operations Manager, looks forward to visiting Chestnut Hill for their “Stag and Doe” nights held every Wednesday in December. It literally feels like you’re in a Hallmark movie – horse and carriages roll down the cobblestone streets, Santa pops in and out of restaurants, Carolers sing outside, and chestnuts literally roast on an open fire!! It’s the perfect time to support local businesses by shopping local for holiday gifts as they extend their store hours and welcome you inside with snacks and refreshments! Despite freezing cold temps, they stayed nice and toasty in El Poquito’s outdoor igloos.

Olivia spent the holidays with her close-knit family in York, PA. She loved seeing her cousins who traveled home from all over the Northeast. Their Nana started a fun tradition a few years ago where she gifts the grandkids their old childhood toys. Nostalgia sets in as they opened their gifts – an old Tetris game from the 1990’s, silly putty, pogs, and more. New Years is another favorite holiday of Olivia’s! As cliché as it is, it’s a time that she loves to reflect and reset. Her goals this year are to cycle on her Peloton 7 times a week, drink her greens daily, and read 25 books (finance, self-development, and business books are her favorites, she’ll take any recommendations!).

We hope you enjoyed our update! Now it’s YOUR turn, what have you been up to? Call, text, email us ANYTIME – we LOVE hearing from you and we look forward to chatting soon. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any friends or family we could help with their Real Estate needs and let us know if you have anyone in mind who would be a great fit for our Team. We are growing, hiring, and we appreciate your referrals. YOU are the heart of our business!

PS. Keep an eye out for our invite to our “Build-Your-Own Mother’s Day Bouquet” event on May 5th!
