We hope you are all doing well and we would love to hear how you are doing. Here are some things our team has been up to!

To celebrate  KW’s Co-Founder / Vice Chairman / Cultural Icon, Mo Anderson, we celebrated her birthday by giving back. This year we celebrated her “Red Day” with an early morning Virtual 5K in the beautiful Wentz Run Park to support and bring awareness to KWKC and KW Cares and donated supplies to The Breathing Room Foundation for Covid Care Packages as well as activity books to Meadowood Senior Living.

We are finally getting back to our team bonding lunches which have been so missed (they’re not the same over Zoom)!

RON AND CAROL

Ron and Carol are so proud of their oldest grandson, Justin, who just finished his first year of college at Messiah. During the summer, along with two of their other older grandsons, Addison & Carter, they are serving customers at Chick-fil-a at their Maryland & Montgomeryville locations (pictured – Carter serving proud dad, Ryan).

Ron and Carol are always on the side lines cheering on the boys’ soccer and lacrosse games (Reid’s lacrosse game, Graham and Carter’s lacrosse games pictured).

Their grandson, Wyatt, who recently scored 5/10 points (including the winning shot) suffered from a serious spleen injury during a lacrosse game. He was in the best hands at Hershey Children’s Hospital where his mom, Courtney, previously worked as a Child Life Specialist. The Young’s are so appreciative of everyone’s prayers and well wishes for Wyatt’s recovery. He is home now resting for the next few weeks.

Ron and Carol never skip a beat even while watching Wyatt’s 4-year-old twin siblings for a few days and supporting the Young Life Pizza Fundraiser. They are actively looking for another awesome Buyer Specialist for the Team. If you know anyone who is hard working, passionate about serving others, and is ready for a rewarding career in Real Estate, please contact us! Although they are Zoom proficient, they have been enjoying seeing clients face-to-face at listing appointments and settlements.

OLIVIA

Since getting engaged in the Fall, Olivia set a wedding date for Summer of 2022 at The Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster. Other than pinning down the date, her planning has been on hold as she is Maid-Of-Honor in two upcoming weddings this Fall which involves lots of planning.

Olivia recently purchased her first home in her favorite place – the heart of Conshohocken. She loves her homes character and charm…it just turned 100 years old this year! Decorating, painting, and projects have been occupying her weekends.

One year and 2 shots later, she finally got to meet her friend’s baby’s, hug her Nana, and spend quality time with family.

Olivia is currently enrolled in a 6-month Real Estate Operations course to learn new ways to serve our clients more efficiently and effectively. She enjoys learning the best tactics to make the home buying and selling experience a smooth process with top-level service. A highlight so far this year has been helping her best friend purchase her first home in Havertown.

SAM

Sam is off to a busy start this Spring showing homes to buyers and writing offers. A few weeks ago, he showed 37 homes in just one weekend…a Ron Young Team record!

In between showings, Sam has been hosting friends, family, and neighbors at his new home in Conshohocken. He has already become famous for his wings on the grill. He’s also on his way to becoming a master landscaper with his mulching, edging, and weed pulling skills! He is a part of the Conshohocken softball league and has yet to pull a hamstring this season.

In March, Sam got to meet his new nephew, Jackson, (COVID style – through the glass door) who lives just 3 blocks away from him. He can’t wait to teach his nephew how to play sports and play with him at the Sutcliffe Park playground right in his backyard.

JAMIE

Jamie is our Team’s Transaction Coordinator and Client Care Specialist! Her role as a TC is often described as an air traffic controller as she is busy planning, coordinating, and scheduling all things relating to settlements. Jamie has coordinated 35+ closings already this year.

Jamie recently moved with her husband to King of Prussia, cutting her commute time in half which has been great for her since she just recently started working in the office again now that she is fully vaccinated! Now that she resides in King of Prussia, she tries to spend her afternoons at Valley Forge Park.

Now that she is vaccinated, she got to celebrate her birthday dinner earlier this May as her first meal out at True Foods with some family and friends.

She has been training for the Boston 5K Spartan race as a New Year’s resolution, but it unfortunately got cancelled, so she took on joining a CrossFit gym. Even though the race was cancelled, they were still able to enjoy a weekend in Boston with their close friends.

Jamie is looking forward to the summer as she has some big events coming up! Her sister-in-law is getting married, and she has been busy helping plan the wedding events. And she is also planning to adopt a dog this summer (pictured below is the mother, Cookie!).

LAUREN

Spring has been busy for Lauren and her family. Her kitchen is being completely renovated, so, many hours have been spent choosing cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and flooring and trying to channel her inner Joanna Gaines while making these decisions!  Between using the grill and slow cooker, meal planning is at a minimum these days, but the amazing weather has been so helpful to be able to eat outside.

Weekends and weeknights are spent at practices and games with three kids playing six different sports, and Lauren coaching her youngest daughter’s softball team but she loves seeing them do what they love. Lauren has rediscovered golf and has been enjoying playing. As the school year is winding down Lauren is most looking forward to family time by the pool and at the shore this Summer.

Lauren is happy to be back in her routine – working part-time from our Blue Bell office helping to plan for upcoming events and preparing client gifts.

We would love to hear from you! What have you been up to? How is your family? Is there anything we can do to help you?
