We hope you are all doing well and we would love to hear how you are doing. Here are some things our team has been up to!

THE RON YOUNG TEAM UPDATE

We are SO excited to see everyone at our 7th Annual “Drive-By For A Pie” event on November 22nd and 23rd! Please keep an eye out for an invite in the mail and via email!

We are also searching for a new team member – another licensed Real Estate Agent who will work with our buyers to find them their dream homes! It is always our goal to serve you, your friends, and family at the highest level and we can continue to do so by adding this key player to our team! Please let us know who comes to mind that is a team player, has a strong work ethic, and is passionate about serving others. No experience in Real Estate is necessary as we have an excellent training program at Keller Williams to put hardworking individuals on a quick path to success. For more information, please visit our website

Our Team enjoyed a nice lunch outside at Panache Fire & Grill in Blue Bell to celebrate Olivia’s birthday in addition to two milestone anniversaries: Jamie’s One-Year Anniversary as our Transaction Coordinator, and Ron & Carol’s 19 Year Anniversary at Keller Williams Real Estate (they say “who’s counting”…but honestly…we are…because each “year” milestone is a huge accomplishment as they positively impact the lives of so many people each year)!

The Team enjoyed a few Phillies game this summer. Thanks to our Title Company partner, Greater Montgomery Settlement Services, we were able to enjoy a night out together indulging in crab fries, gluten free hotdogs, water ice, and more! We went for the game but stayed for the food!

We loved seeing our Client and Friend, Rae Barnes, shine from behind the lens as she took our new headshots and team photos at The Highlands Mansion in Fort Washington!

RON & CAROL UPDATE

This summer, Ron and Carol enjoyed LOTS of cousin bonding with 3 Cousin’s Camps and 1 Twins Camp!

The summer was off to a great start with “Cousins Camp” in Ocean City, NJ with 15- and 16-year-old, Addison and Carter. A highlight of the trip was jet skiing, golfing, and learning to sail and surfboard. Ron and Carol cherish every moment laughing together and watching their Grands try new things. As always, the trip wasn’t complete without multiple rounds of Monopoly!

Ron and Carol also ventured out to “Camp of the Woods” in the Adirondack Mountains for “Cousin’s Camp” with 13 year olds – Tyler, Graham, and Wyatt. An action packed trip for the boys included learning to sail, water skiing, and they also had a blast tubing, paddle boarding, relaxing around the bonfire, and of course…Monopoly!

Soon enough it was Reid and Sawyer’s turn for Cousin’s Camp! The “Salt and Pepper” dynamic duo never stopped moving – from learning to surf, going dolphin watching, mini golfing and catching some rides on the boardwalk. Time spent with these two made Ron and Carol’s hearts SO full!

Summer wouldn’t be complete without a Twin’s Camp for Audrey and Greyson. The Twins were in awe watching the planes take off at Wings Field and they loved getting up close to the giraffes at Elmwood Zoo.

Together as a family, The Young’s enjoyed a relaxing vacation in Duck, North Carolina…their favorite vacation spot!

SAM UPDATE

Sam has been busy this summer! He has enjoyed many outdoor activities such as playing softball, basketball, and golf. Sam and his friends explored The Poconos for the first time. They enjoyed golfing and bonfires and have decided to make it an annual event going forward.

You can always find Sam outside working on his home and relaxing on the deck! Sam is determined to have the best lawn on the block. Hopefully his YouTube research and aerating machines payoff!

Sam also loves taking walks to visit his 6-month-old nephew, Jackson, who lives just 3 blocks away!

Him and his fiancé, Olivia, have also started planning their wedding for next August!

JAMIE UPDATE

Jamie and her husband, Jake, have good friends who live in Boston, and so they try to make quarterly visits to their new hometown. This summer, they were able to visit their friends in Boston and the four of them enjoyed spending their days being tourists in the city. Jamie is already counting down the days to visit and see them again.

Jamie traveled to Vermont for the first time and enjoyed the scenic views in Killington Vermont as she supported her husband who participated in the Ultra Spartan race which is a 50K course and 60 obstacles. Jamie and Jake have already started training to run a Spartan race together next year along with a couple of friends.

Jamie’s sister-in-law got married in Hilton Head Island and before they could walk down the aisle, Jamie threw her a Bachelorette Party which included a scavenger hunt throughout Philadelphia.

Although summer was filled with fun and friends, Fall is Jamie’s favorite season and she always has a bucket list of fall festivities each year. So far this year she has gone to the Renaissance Faire with friends for their annual Oktoberfest. This weekend she will be going to a corn maze and haunted hayride. She is looking forward to many more fall festivities and is patiently waiting for Thanksgiving Day where she can begin listening to Christmas music. It is a house rule that she has to wait to play Christmas Music until Thanksgiving day, or else she may be listening to it all year long!

LAUREN UPDATE

Lauren‘s kitchen is finally finished and she is loving it! A few months of living with renovations is well worth the outcome!

She spent a lot of her time this Summer at Bellewood Country Club watching the kids participate in swim team and golf outings, and even got out on the course a few times herself.

A few fun weekends spent in Ocean City, NJ including surfing lessons with her side of the family and a Brady family vacation during a week in July to have all the cousins together was so much fun.

The summer also brought reunions with friends and family and visits back to her old stomping ground – The University of Delaware – Go Blue Hens!

The Bradys (and puppy Tucker) love hiking and tried out some new spots like Hawk Mountain and Lock 29, St. Peter’s Village and Black Rock Trail are still some of their local favorites. Tucker turned ONE in August and he celebrated by going to Petsmart to pick out his own toy!

Many Summer nights were spent outback in their pool, watching outdoor movies, and making s’mores. The end of August came with all three kids actually going back to school in person, little Paigey started kindergarten and is ready to be class president already. 🙂 Lauren is most looking forward to the leaves changing, cooler nights around the firepit, and entertaining in her new kitchen during the holidays!  As events are slowly making their way back, Lauren is excited and ready to plan fun client events for The Ron Young Team, so keep an eye out for invitations in your mailbox coming soon!

OLIVIA UPDATE

Olivia spent the summer fulfilling her double Maid-Of-Honor duties for her sister and cousin who had their weddings just two weeks apart. This summer she planned two bachelorette parties, two bridal showers, and wrote and gave speeches. As a family, she learned the power of community…the night before her cousins bridal shower, a storm caused 3 trees to crash into her uncles deck and yard (the exact spot of the bridal shower). Within a few hours her family and neighbors had multiple chainsaws going. The next day no one could even tell there was a disaster the day before. When life gives you storms, you make a tree bench and take photos on it with your cousins. After she took a two week break from the words “wedding planning”, she is now finally starting to plan her own! She checked off finding a dress on her list and now has a few more vendors to book.

In her down time, she enjoyed visiting her family in York especially her sisters new puppy, Hank, and reading and relaxing in her new “outdoor living room”, and, of course, hanging out with her nephew.

Olivia recently celebrated her birthday with family at her favorite local restaurant, Gypsy Saloon, in Conshohocken and Olivia and Sam celebrated their 6 year anniversary at Spring Lake Beach in New Jersey.

Check back soon for more updates! We’d love to hear what you have been up to!
